I think I get what you mean. Not ‘every queer person is gay’ as in literally gay, could be bi, trans, etc. but it’s more so about the difference between LGBT+ people who are culturally queer and who aren’t?

No they have it right. The difference is queer people are accepting and treat their community with respect, while some gays (republicans) don’t because they want to be “one of the good ones” (which is a trap bc republicunts will still never respect you)
