This is a hot take so hear me out but if a gay ship is going to happen within the main cast, I think it should’ve been Stevathan. Their chemistry would have been better onscreen and I think Will’s emotional arc was actually REALLY good and to preserve that unfortunately he has to stay single.

I know :( I don’t really support Noah, but I agree with his stance on it. Will Byers absolutely deserved a romantic arc, and one with Mike would’ve made SO much sense. I hate that they reduced his character to a gay guy at a gay bar in a big city :( absolutely broke my heart. LOADS of potential.
