Yeah but TERFs by definition aren’t conservative so it just feels disingenuous 😭 at the end of the day they still hold radical feminist ideology which is opposite of what conservatives believe

TERFs do NOT hold radical feminist beliefs. TERF is a total misnomer. You cannot call yourself feminist while being transphobic, let alone calling yourself a radical feminist. Most TERFs are explicitly, undeniably conservative, and the ones who aren’t that are *still* conservative (just with plausible deniability around their more insane beliefs)

Well there’s a difference in a feminist and a radical-feminist. They don’t hold the same views even if they sound the same. They still are two different ideologies, but you can’t be considered conservative if you aren’t in favor of things that the far right is. At its baseline, TERFism is just a cisgender female civil rights movement concentrated in the Middle East, that combats extreme conservatism in those areas. Confusing.. but in the states they are still pro-abortion which is anti conserv

TERFism isn’t radfem, though. Even setting aside the fact that it’s neither radical nor feminist. Like, there’s criticism to be made of modern redfeminsm, and transphobia is one of them, but TERFism is an inherently misogynistic belief system that is counter to every principle that can be meaningfully called progressive or feminist.

It isn’t a civil rights movement, or ideology. It’s an anti-civil rights, antifeminist, and typically racist movement. It isn’t centered in the Middle East, and I don’t know where you got that idea from. It does not fight conservatism. All major TERFs are expressly conservative, and many are also expressly antifeminist
