I’ll never understand people getting upset at strangers using the wrong pronouns from them when they don’t tell them.

this doesn’t really happen. more often I see trans people saying something like “oh i actually use he/him please :)” and someone getting up in arms asking why they’re being so mean about it 😭

dawg if you’re making a post about shit that you can only give exclusively online examples of, might i suggest touching grass and interacting with the real world

At the end of the day, if gendered comments are such an issue for them, they can just remove the gender that they don’t wanna be commented. You can do that on TikTok. You can remove certain words so why not do that bothered by so badly. Yes it’s extra shit to do but if these comments hurt you in some way why not take a preventative measure for it

I see this a lot online. People will complain that people in the comments are misgendering them. But they wont have their pronouns anywhere on their post. I feel like you can’t expect everyone to know immediately, I don’t know if that makes sense. Like not everyone is going to check your profile to see what pronouns you use

Literally said I only see it online. I’m not saying this as a general thing duh. I just wanted to know the thinking of why

You expect trans people to have their pronouns on any post they make, instead of other people taking two seconds and looking at a profile before typing a gendered comment?

Nope, I never said that, but you also can’t expect everyone to look that’s literally what my comment says. “‘Not everyone is going to check your profile to see what pronouns you use”

Your OG post said nothing about “only online” lmao. Maybe you shouldn’t be expecting people to assume everything is online without putting it in your post. Some of us go outside

I’m not expecting people to assume, people asked questions and I elaborated

Go look at noelleleahh on tik tok, at around 27 seconds she’s says “the amount of you misgendering me in the comments.” I promise you this is not unprompted, all of her other points in the video stand. Respect someone’s pronouns and shouldn’t be hard. But also realistically you can’t expect random people in the internet to check your account first before they make a comment

Hey so you saw the video, you heard them say they’re being misgendered. You literally say in this comment respecting someone’s pronouns shouldn’t be hard. So why with the context of KNOWING THEYRE BEING MISGENDERED are you misgendering them??

Because just like I said I'm some random person on the internet. This is literally the first video I saw from this person. I'm going to try but l'll still forget. If you look at my other comment I use they but l'm just some strange, I'm going to try but l'm not perfect no one is (people make mistakes, you know you have friends how have slipped up a bit a first

Just watched the video. They’re saying that nonbinary people can look any way and don’t owe androgyny to anyone, and they don’t like the commenters assuming they’re a girl or that there’s a way girls look, because there’s not. You’re taking the words of a trans person who’s saying that nonbinary people can look any way, and blowing it up as if it’s a big issue and they were getting real mad. The video was jsut saying it’s okay to look any way and be nonbinary

There’s no one way to look non-binary person so being feme presenting it’s a possibility with being misgendered because there’s no one way to look non-binary

if you knew anything about this person you’d agree. They literally purposely set up a camera and harass workers to try and bait them into misgendering them for views on tiktok An actual piece of shit making the LGBTQ movement look insufferable

I don’t believe someone being an asshole invalidates an entire group of people. If you think an entire minority group should be policed so they don't act like "one of the bad ones" then I frankly do not trust you. Do you care more about people who will only support the "good" queers then you care about how all queer people deserve respect?
