I get what you're saying, and I suspect OP's message is for the people on YY who may consider making signs like whatever was posted (idk, I can't see it). Just a thought. The world gets friendlier if you work to try to understand why people do what they do instead of just telling them they're doing it wrong

The photo was of an older person at some kind of protest holding up a sign with a racist message. The post was downvoted so heavily it was removed and not a single person showed any support. I promise you nobody here, with good intentions, was planning on making a sign saying ‘get blacks out of my bathroom’

I just thought it was weird OP was referring to “y’all” as if we, in this group, were cheering on the old racist person in the picture when everyone here was pretty unanimously upset at it? Plus, I really don’t think that person in the picture was doing it for Twitter or TikTok fame.

Like yeah we all agree signs like the brunch one are bad. The bathroom sign was not even remotely similar in intention or execution.
