depends what you’re buying. the issue with these stores is rooted in overconsumption, most clothing brands use the same child labor factories and cheap quality these days

Like plushies, I also don’t support squish mellow anymore due to them supporting isreal, or like nerdy merch and memorabilia

if you need clothing, you’ll be able to find cheaper options in store at places like ross and walmart, for groceries/household things you can go to local grocery stores and markets, but ultimately it’s best to just limit your consumption and make the most use out of what you already own rather than worrying about the brand or source
