the reason I loved the Harry Potter series was for the JIM DALE audiobooks specifically. The only way I enjoy Harry Potter content is through DVDs I’ve owned since forever and pirating the Jim Dale audiobooks. I go out of my way to make sure this bitch makes no money

And I will full heartedly admit I was a die hard HP fan who was SUPER happy a WOMAN created something that garnered so much love and attention but it all came crumbling down when I found out who she truly was. So yeah it hurts me for more than a couple reasons but the pain is worth it if all she’s done to hurt others can be defeated one day. She will not be remembered kindly.

you know, i used to listen to mindless self indulgence a lot with my best friend before he took his own life. i stopped listening to it the second i learned the lead singer is a massive pedophile. can’t even look at it in a positive or nostalgic light anymore. the person i was listening to it with would be so strongly against what the lead singer did too. it is 100% possible to appreciate memories without supporting awful people

just wanted to add that by continuing to listen to the music of people who have done horrible shit, you are telling that person “it does not matter how bad of a thing you to, you will still have people who listen to you and will pay your bills.” it completely absolves responsibility on their behalf and teaches already massively out of touch people that it’s okay to act that way with no consequences
