There is another interesting layer on this where they will be obsessed with gay men but will view every lesbian as a predator (some of them will include bi women but from my personal experience the straight women are okay with bi women but not lesbians)

my mother has a bunch of gay friends and loves gay men but will openly talk about how she hates lesbians (I am an lesbian and so is her sister-in-law)

You aren’t treated like a normal friend, but instead the relationship is a weird caricature of a feminine friendship. They talk to you in an affected way and want to establish you as “one of the girls.” I am a man and want to be treated like one even if I sometimes do makeup and have relationships with other men
