If I as nothing but a straight person, went to a pride event in drag for fun would that be weird?

as long as you're respectful and have some knowledge about drag history and whatnot (at the very least, enough so you know how to be respectful of the culture of drag) it should be fine

Is there any specific way you suggest I go about it/ things to avoid. This would be a first time

It wouldn’t be weird. Like #2 said, as long as you’re respectful and not doing drag as some ploy to like make fun of other drag artists, you’re good

I mean drag is a very broad art form so I guess it would just be like boiling down what your character is, what the purpose of the character is/what message you’re sending with it, and just generally not bringing down other drag artists. But it’s all contextual like if you’re just showing up in drag to have a good time is a whole,e different situation from like if you’re performing or something
