Should I marry a wealthy person who will be the sole breadwinner because my neurodivergence makes it hard for me to find suitable jobs (I would make sure a prenup will protect my interests)?

I mean it’s your life, do what you want. Just keep in mind the resentments/power dynamics that a situation like that brings to a relationship (queer or not)

my partner earns a lot more than I do and we do plan on me not working after I pay off my car, but I feel obligated to point out that prenups are often found uninforceable

I'm kinda the same way, I have tried so hard to work and do school at the same time but my ADHD and anxiety disorders are getting in the way of both and I'm holding on by a thread

Also consider whether housework/etc is enough to make you feel happy and fulfilled — it’s a little different if you’re some kind of creative (artist, writer, etc.) and are good at working stuff like that without deadlines. Working outside the home also can make ppl feel empty but at least it can have some variety and income potential. Also all of this is based on the assumption you can find a wealthy person to marry you who’ll agree to the situation and pre nup (not easy)

I don’t like housework so hopefully hired help (fairly compensated of course) is affordable.
