I’m sorry, that is ass 😞 tip for situations like that (defending queer folks a bit without outing yourself): try to seem like you’re not emotional and it’s just not that interesting. As if it’s a bit weird that he keeps talking about it. Like “dad who cares? Some people wear makeup.” or if he says the guy is gay, maybe a disinterested “I dunno, maybe? that’s his business.”
