Okay aromantic here but platonic heartbreak can and often is worse than romantic, romantic relationships there’s a bigger understanding that the chance this breaks your heart is larger but platonic you understand them on a deeper level and are not expecting it to end poorly or messily (also saying “just platonic” implies romance is inherently better which is aphobic)

I appreciate the perspective and support but nowhere did I imply aphobia, and yes to me romantic love is what I want and value. I understand you don’t and that’s ok but I’m not pushing my values on you or others.
