I need opinions on a name. Especially from non-white non-binary people, but feedback from everyone helps.

Basically, I’ve been seeing a lot of memes about white nonbinary people naming themselves after random words or food in other languages and how it’s cringy and weird and cultural appropriation. Which. I agree. But I also named myself after a food. It’s not a name in that language. But I am half that ethnicity and half ~white. However, I wasn’t raised in that country and don’t speak that language. Most people compliment my name, but one of my friends says it’s weird. I also thought it was weird

at first, but it’s grown on me a lot. It came from a username and the food is my favorite food. I met all my best friends and my partner under this name. And even when I had a chosen name in English it was a weird af name too… so. And my birth name came from a culture that’s not mine either and I don’t want to go back to it. But I’m worried that it’s cultural appropriation and weird and icky. I’m also worried that if I introduce my new name to that side of the family, they won’t like it.
