random flag opinion: I NEED multiple attraction flags (pan, polysexual) to stop being some random variation of bi where it's a pink for fem, a blue for masc, and a random other color for androgynous, they have different meanings, be different

My personal headcannon for the pan flag is that it's printer colors (cmy) which can be used to create any other color and thus any gender representation showing how pan people just don't give a fuck about gender, but that's just me projecting how I interpret my sexuality onto the gosh that already exists

Except that that’s not even what the bi flag is!! Pink is not for fem and blue is not for masc. The colors are for attraction to your same gender and other genders.

nah I checked, both pan and polysexual have a blue of some sort for men, pink of some sort for women, and a random third color that is not purple (in order to distinguish themselves from the bi flag) that represents nonbinary people. I checked wikipedia and fandom.com for the flag meanings. idk it just annoys me (especially for pan cause I'm pan) that these flag that are supposed to represent attraction that doesn't follow a binary are still like... very binary

This isn’t a headcanon lol this is the actual reason those colors were chosen. Yes they represent the percieved genders but cmy were chosen especially because they make up every other color. The flag was created on tumblr so I think you might even be able to find the original post
