Gender is a social condition. Nobody is checking genitalia or chromosomes to know if ur a specific gender all they do is look at you and decide. Womanhood and manhood aren't real in a scientific sense it's just the way society perceives you

Personal truth doesn't always have an effect on outside reality unless there's some type of expression is the point I'm making You can determine your personal truth sure but you need to speak about or show it for it to actually change your life

ask pretty much any closeted trans person “is your life exactly the same as it was before you realized you were trans, or has it changed in some respects?” and you’ll quickly discover that “you need to speak about or show it for it to actually change your life” isn’t true either

Okay but I do have a question, was that person not trans before they had their realization? The thoughts and feelings would've been there their whole life without a name being put to it

“were you trans before you figured out that you’re trans” is a question that can only be answered by the individual themself re: their own experience. some people were trans all along, some weren’t. we aren’t a monolith so… do you seriously interact with so few trans people that you presumed there would have to be just one universally-true answer to that question?

I asked bc the framing of your argument makes it seem like figuring out your trans is a big realization rather than just putting a name to your existence… I was trying to see what YOU believed 🤧 But maybe it's just my misunderstanding

for you to frame “a big realization” and “putting a name to your existence” as two very different mutually-exclusive options, I’m starting to wonder if the problem might be that you’re just bad at communicating ideas in general tbh
