It’s so hard for me to understand how people still like Harry Potter I liked it as a kid and as soon as JK Rowling showed herself as JK Rowling I dropped it instantly and I was already like realizing the booms weren’t actually good even if I enjoyed the fandom at the point because they’re just not good books but even enjoying the franchise I couldn’t keep going with what she was doing and saying

Even when I was a kid, everything I had read, especially about Azkaban had rubbed me the wrong way. Blatantly shows exactly where her morals stand with the justice system. And that’s not to mention how she can’t write characters with trauma for shit. Cause tf do you mean Harry is completely normal about growing up with the most physically and mentally abusive people on the block?? All the adults in Harry Potter actually sucked, there was genuinely not one adult with a brain cell istg
