Who u feel sympathy for is irrelevant but, genuinely curious, what compels you to make this sort of post? Why do u want to communicate to people that you did not value a human life due to ideological differences? He was not Hitler. He was not Stalin. He was a man engaging with a fundamental part of democracy: freedom of thought and freedom of speech. I may not have liked what he chose to say but it is incredibly alarming to see the celebration of political violence in response to that speech.
Constantly its repeated that, “he just spoke his opinions.” But when thousands of people are kidnapped by state thugs, who looks the other way? When queer people are murdered by the guy who thinks theyre a threat, who was whispering in his ear? When black people lose their jobs because their white employer has been conditioned to think they’re “unqualified”, who gave him that idea? Right-wing pundits like Charlie have a responsibility for the hate they spread, and it’s embarrassing to think not.
As if not every public political figure doesn't have hatred towards their opponents? That is NOT the reason for murdering! How do you know and why are u assuming what ppl think when they do those things? Just because he's a "bad influence" he should be publicly executed? And so many pol cheer when this happens? Sounds like a fascist society to me. Except there are 2 or multiple of them in this country that disqualify it as a whole fascist country.
