I feel like sometimes people feel entitled to having trans people explain their identity, as if that’s not a super personal thing and kinda weird to ask

I feel this so hard as a Non Binary person. People always want to know what “brand” of enby I am and I’m just here like: a) That’s complicated and personal B) Ima be honest, not even I know the answer to that question.

Literally had someone ask why I don’t use they them, I explain, and then she says “well your wrong and make nonbinary people look bad because it’s a third gender and they them are the pronouns.”

That is crazy. Why can’t people just refer to you by whatever you ask them too?!?! Also, people who genuinely think NB is a “3rd gender” and nothing else make me so upset 😭😭

“Right now is not the fucking time” Excuse me but right now is ABSOLUTELY the time. Trans and other gendered people’s rights are being taken away so we gotta stand up and fight for those.
