While this isn’t a hard concept to grasp, I would like to add that what helped me with this was learning more about ace individuals. Sort of like a “oh, not only do I not know their sexuality, but they may not even feel that type of attraction towards anyone”

And ik this is such a non issue but I’m tired of acting like being an ally just means supporting gay marriage like no that’s bare minimum how about change your view of the world to be more inclusive and care about real queer issues

Honestly this doesn’t even have to be that deep. The other day I met a co worker and we were just casually talking about any past relationships and all she had to do was say “girlfriend” and boom move on. Like I feel like normally someone doesn’t ask someone else their sexuality more so just figure it out subtly.
