Honestly, she’s not the most bashable celeb. Is she sometimes a hypocrite? Yeah. But i respect her for saying billionaires shouldn’t exist and donating her money. I feel like that already makes her leagues better than most celebs. Maybe the bar is on the floor

Hi, trying to understand here, why the hate for her choosing to marry a man?

I feel like she falls into a thing where white masculine lesbians start acting like black men when they want to be masculine, and styling themselves with styles stemming from black men, but without any awareness of it/ acknowledgement of that

Are we really saying that this style is owned exclusively by black men and that if she wants to wear it she has to go around giving credit to black men or it’s somehow wrong? Is it not maybe possible that she just wore clothes she likes?

okay yeah i get what you mean but i don't think that's why billie is wearing those clothes, i mean she mentioned multiple times in the past in for example interviews that she just feels more comfortable like that, also she sometimes wears very feminine clothes as well so i don't think that she has any bad intentions about her style

i honestly don't know i think it's just some fans that take shit a lil too serious also her and nat are up till now just dating so we don't know if they'll get married... but i remember when the first paparazzi pictures got leaked some fans commented on her brothers tiktok account something like "your sister cheated on me" so i think it's just some fans who are being weird...

No but you can’t ignore the origins of certain styles

We’re not exactly talking about a kimono here, it’s just a vest, shirt, shorts, and hat

It’s not just a vest, shirt, shorts and hat, it’s the combination of those into that style that makes it cultural. Your argument is really illogical and reductionist because you can simplify any cultural clothing into its basic forms. What separates a kimono from being just a tied piece of fabric? It’s the creation of the clothing and how its style that gives it its cultural context

Exactly, the outfit very clearly uses hip hop fashion as a reference point. I’m not saying it’s some forbidden crime or anything but we can’t ignore the influence and the implications of it. At the very least credit needs to be given where it’s due. I’m tired of people trying to shut down these conversations out of fear of cancellation; sometimes people just want to talk about these things without trying to take someone down

I just don’t understand what you want here. Is she supposed to preface every interview by saying some of her outfits have hip hop inspiration? Absolutely no one cares outside of whatever’s happening here
