my appointments with my old psychiatrist literally were not long enough to go into detail with anything besides the medications

Some psychiatrists do therapy appointments Frasier style, it’s just not super common nowadays with the massive growth in clinical psychologists, so I’m assuming it’s either that OR she was making excessive appointments/making up reasons they need to come in to see them more than typical appointments fictitious disorder style
