There are trans women who identify as gay. There have always been trans people who identify with labels that seem contradictory at first. Learn our history. Trans men lesbians have been in this community from the start

I promise cis men are not in good faith identifying as lesbians, no one with a brain truly believes cis men can be lesbians but lesbianism has broadly applied to gender nonconforming people for a longgg time.

Well trans man does, fully ok with trans masc people using lesbian but everyone should be in agreement with trans men not unless you are just transphobic; like i understand as a trans man I know the history and i understand growing up as a lesbian and feeling apart of that community but you can’t use the label and be a man thats just part of the deal

Yeah? But we are also men, unless men can be lesbians neither can we; if you are ok with that fine just a difference in opinion and im not some stickler about it. I just know me and my trans friends dont enjoy using the term (admittedly mostly gay friends but still). I also wouldnt say men cant be in lesbian spaces Thats just silly i just have a harder line definition cause it makes me dysphoric to use that language

I mean yeah all men am I right 😔 idk i dont think it’s a crazy stance im woke ash just don’t excatly agree women can be gay or men can be lesbians but im not gonna put anyone down that does think that I just think the perspective is out there and neither have to be transphobic

that’s why the whole point is that trans men and transmascs CAN use the term lesbian if they feel connected to it. not that all trans men who are attracted to women ARE lesbians. no one is telling you you are a lesbian just to respect other people’s decision to identify as such. also if someone else’s identity makes you feel dysphoric that’s a you problem. and i say this as a trans guy.

When did I say this? Trans men are men, and why would lesbianism include men

The argument that always get brought up in this conversation is “so cis men can be lesbians?”. Its something i guarantee you wouldve brought up if backed into a corner.

No I just don’t think men should be included in lesbianism in any way shape or form because lesbianism is not a fluid identity, why would I see a difference in a trans or cis man identifying as lesbian when they are both men?

Literally where is this history bro 😭 are you including women who had to pretend to be men for their own safety because society wouldn’t let them date a woman
