I just started seriously getting into makeup within the past year, I started with learning eyeliner and then gradually moved to learning eyeshadow, now I’m starting to branch out into stuff like lipstick/gloss and blush .. I really recommend taking things one step at a time, starting wish eye makeup is a good way to elevate your look easily !!

Also, you don’t need to know how to do everything. I’ve been doing makeup for like a decade and never bothered learning eyeshadow or contour or anything bc my ideal look doesn’t even use those

omg yeah I've been wearing makeup for just over a year and it was sooo intimidating at first one quick tip i love is that winged eyeliner stamps exist! so before I figured out how to do it on my own I used those stamps to do the wings they're super helpful!

Like #1 said, take things one step at a time. And accept that getting good at makeup may be a long process, with time spent watching tutorials and practicing. I’m not saying that to be discouraging, just saying don’t be worried if you don’t get it overnight, because a lot of other people don’t either.
