I didn’t say in any of my points that it’s the right thing to do or that it should be done. I just said it’s not a rare occurrence or anything crazy. This shit is not new. I never said it was okay, but neither are all the kids getting shot in school. He said that was a necessary sacrifice, and that makes him evil and terrible. Back to the OP: See, I’m lost at the level of surprise with the half-mast but not the assassination in the middle of a college campus where theoretically debate must be encouraged? The current President is a personal friend (gross in ways but facts) and has the power to enact half-mast.
