Idk why some queer people act like being cishet passing is some form of oppression it’s quite literally something that will make your life easier and may even save your life in some circumstances

Passing as a cishet person in and of itself is not oppression, but the reasons we are forced to do so in some circumstances are definitely rooted in oppression. Being straight passing is a response to being oppressed, not oppression in and of itself
