IN MY EXPERIENCE the majority of people who have called me an egg are transfem, but I really hesitate to make that generalization

egg was literally coined by transfems and they use this word all the time to describe themselves or other potential transfems. we need to stop capeing and acting like transfems have never done anything wrong

That’s the thing-I am not transfem. Tbh, I’m fine with them using it amongst themselves or with people who are comfortable with it. Using it to describe other people is pretty dubious, and using it to describe nonbinary people in order to disregard our identities is transphobic.

I suppose I wasn’t clear in my post. I have been called an egg when I state I am non-binary and use all pronouns. Because he/him are included in the pronouns I’m comfortable with, I was called an egg and told that it was just a matter of time before I “transitioned fully” or “realized I’m actually a trans guy”.
