What always gets me about the kink at pride discourse is that they hit you with “well I don’t want to see someone have sex I the street” and when you push them on what they consider kink at pride it’s like… a guy in a speedo. A guy wearing a collar.

the one thing i legit appreciate about the kink at pride discourse is how much trouble it saves me when someone i thought i wanted to get close with voluntarily reveals that they’re harboring particularly pearl-clutching attitudes re: sex & kink
