it’s a symptom of a lot of things but especially men’s bodies being desexualized. sex isn’t a thing you have done to you as a man, it’s something you inflict upon others. you aren’t allowed to be the object of desire. think how many stupid “i’m attracted to all women and three men” jokes we see here

I mean it genuinely when I say that a lot of people interpret feminism so wrong that they just straight up become misandrists and then misandry just gets normalized, obvi an issue of the patriarchy but damn ppl take it too far and as a trans man it’s hard to hear all the hate toward men and just ignore it. I completely understand the subtext of messages like “all men” but we need better ways to communicate them and lift each other up without tearing anyone down.
