I read it as a commentary on how hypocritical the US policy is in general, we’ve done some of the worst atrocities in the hx of the world, but almost none of that is covered in our own education system.

Yeah that post is so strange. I’m from the Bronx, my parents lost multiple people from their graduating class. There is a fault to every step of every New Yorker on 9/11. Every year from middle school until i graduated every single teacher gave their stories, where they were, who they lost. Thats a tragedy
