im bi and honestly this is how my family treats it. every couple months i have to ‘come out’ again (someone in my family comes up to me and asks me what my sexuality is again and what that means cause they forgot.)

I think it depends, family at least will care a bit more about things like “I got a partner” whether it’s straight or not. but depends on the person and conversation and job, some people are probably like this
