There is very likely a food bank or similar assistance near you, have you looked into those?

i’ve visited the church closest to me and the food banks, they are unfortunately all wiped out. since i’m not a student and can’t get resources that way, i’ll have to wait until the next one opens on friday. i’m just trying to find something to hold me over until then

How far is the second closest place of assistance (including synagogs and mosques, temples, secular orgs)

it’s not a matter of distance, it’s a matter of these places even being open for food drive. the next one in a walkable distance from me isn’t open until Friday, possibly Saturday.
