question from a questioning girl: if i have crushes on fictional women but wouldn’t date or sleep with one could i still consider myself bi? i’m unsure if i’m straight and this is normal or if i’m just bi with a preference for men

Ik this is a wild take but I found out I was bi because I watched wlw porn and liked it so maybe try that? Or read some wlw smut if you’re more of a reader

you can find women attractive without being attracted to them. finding fictional women/celebrities attractive doesn't necessarily mean you're bi. at the end of the day it's your identity and no one can tell you what your sexuality is. like #1 said, you could experiment with porn/smut to see how you feel and if you're attracted to women or if you just find them attractive

If you get turned on I’d say you’re bi

i don’t necessarily get turned on, it’s more like infatuation/obsession with fictional characters. like i find them really attractive but i don’t really find women irl as attractive as i do in media. but like i definitely find the fictional characters attractive 🙃 i just don’t know if that would still make me bi for just obsessing over them. same with celebrities like i love watching edits of women celebrities but i would say they turn me on, i just love watching them because they’re attractive

but also don't stress finding a label for yourself, it took me years to figure out my sexuality and even longer to accept it. you don't have to figure it out right now and you can still interact with and be part of queer communities without knowing for sure
