I’ve never understood this because hating all men is weird enough but then they always seem to hate gay men more for some reason

Had a trans lesbian at my friend's party state FOUR TIMES how much she hates gay men and men in general but that my boyfriend and I were so awesome, did she want me to take this as a compliment? Would she say this if she had clocked me?

I think it has something to do with the shock value of finding out that men who are part of the queer community can sometimes be more judgmental and exclusionary than straight men
