Planned parenthood tries their best to keep prices low if you intentionally don’t use insurance, so it might be worth looking into them. Diy could also be an option

i totally understand I was also really nervous about this starting hrt. i’m transmasc so don’t take my word for this BUT i’m pretty sure it’s easier to hide the changes on E for a while if you had too while living with your parents. and they most likely couldn’t find out through your insurance, especially if you called your insurance to make sure. good luck girl <3

Of the main ways of taking E, there’s Pills, Injections, and Patches. To hide pills all you’d need to do is hide the bottle since there’s no additional waste. Injections you’d need to hide the vial, syringe, and everything else. But, you don’t have to inject that often. For patches, it’s similar but with just hiding the patches and maybe alcohol wipes. Injections and patches will both generate some trash (usually wrappers that things are stored in) but patches will generate less
