it’s always “normalize women having body hair” until a trans woman has some stubble

The double standards magically reveal either misogyny or transphobia

Body hair has never been fully normalized. Men get freaked out over a little bit of armpit hair or leg hair. It’s annoying as fuck as someone who is a cis woman

YES and I’m tired of them getting called bricks when lots of women grow it, it’s all about making societal rules of what women can be and what men can be to sell us their crap

there's certainly men who don't care but overall as a society a lot of people are still weird about body hair. like most other girls I know started shaving around age 10, I have heard lots of people make comments in public about women with visible arm pit hair, and ofc the most common one I've seen is people saying good for those women but personally I need a girl who shaves I live in a very progressive town too, so it's definitely still a widespread thing

Its not just a deposit. Its pretty rare for guys to be chill with hair.

Like androgyny and alternatives to conventional standards of beauty will always be in style imo and it’s no one’s right to criticize the follicles on your skin

as someone who was born female but identifies as agender and has pcos i have very dark mustache hair (i personally don’t like it even if i am feeling more masculine) and so i shave it once or so a week but the times i don’t i feel like its super noticeable and i’ve had people comment on it and its just like leave me tf alone i literally can’t control it 🙄

Nah, literally every male and even females will comment on my hairy arms if they have a chance. “Oh why are your arms like that?” Etc, etc. It’s so frustrating to explain that it is just who I am and I don’t feel like shaving every other day

Hey dawg, that’s so real I would never comment on your follicles whether you wanted them to be there or not
