isn’t pride literally for everyone??? like, not just for people in the community, but allies too…

Anyways I’m really sorry that happened to you. It sucks when the place that’s supposed to accept you isn’t actually that safe of a space

it was our first pride and i've mainly just seen this argument online but i'm curious if this is a regular thing?

How do you know they were lesbians?

because i heard them talking about being lesbians

I think just like anyone, lesbians can be annoying and shitty. The discourse is mainly online and it’s weird they were even at pride if they have such a big issue

agree. i don't think being shitty is exclusive to lesbians at all. i was more so wondering if it's common to hear

or if it was more of a product of the political climate and falling for discourse online

Not common to me, irl. If anything we’d talk about not feeling comfortable with men at lesbian bars, but that’s because it is supposed to be a lesbian/women only space

Hey. Still queer. Assuming me n my boyfriend’s sexualities is not ok (hey we are both bi and have they in our pronouns! We are queer!) and regardless, pride is a place for fucking everyone. Why are you placing all of your blame on bi women for “bringing their straight boyfriends” anyways? If the men are being a problem, blame them. And if they’re just existing, that’s no excuse for them not to be there

it's alright. it sucked but i wasn't going to let that stop me from being there and enjoying myself :)

Barely coherent rant about how biphobia pisses me off and pride can’t be exclusionary because that contradicts its founding principles

But why are you responding to the second commenter like they said something horrible?

i think you may have misinterpreted what they were saying. they were acting as if they were speaking to those who were behind me in line and people who don't believe bi people or allies should be at pride
