totally, that’s how i felt when i first got to college, seriously utilized the random events on campus one of those people or clubs/groups might be your people. people kept telling me to do that and when i finally listened they turned out to be right

you can just walk up say hi and introduce yourself and try to strike up a conversation. maybe compliment their hair or something they’re wearing?

go for if! might be the best decision you make. compliment def the best way to strike a convo takes their guard down a bit then start with the basic college questions find something in common

i haven’t really made close friends here yet :( (freshman) and the girls i’ve been hanging out with aren’t really in the same social groups if that makes sense

Ask them what year they are or something. OR look into little clues. Like I wear band shirts a lot and it’s a great way to start a conversation
