My fkn issue is..the protests could at least have started after she’s in the White House, not before. People think they can beat the electoral college is insane and so are people who are like,”oh they won’t let Trump win again so I won’t vote”

The third party vote would not have swayed Kamala to win. Don’t be mad at the voters, be angry with Kamala for running a piss poor campaign that hyper focused on Israel and repeating Joe Bidens talking points despite Bidens approval being at a historic low. It’s not to say that Kamala wouldn’t have been less harmful than Trump, she would have. But it’s not the leftists abstaining/or third party voting that caused her failure.

Like she wouldn’t have done just as bad shit if not worse. You do remember the harsh prison sentences she gave to those who had marijuana possession charges and made convicts fight wildfires for $1.50 an hr right?

Like: i get that Kamala was not as progressive as we would have liked about things like Palestine but how dare they try to insinuate that we would be in the same situation if she had won?! Harm reduction is unfortunately what we have to do. AND HOW CAN WE HELP THOSE WHO NEED HELP IN PALESTINE IF WE ARE FIGHTING OUR OWN LIFE THREATENING BATTLES ON THE HOME FRONT?

And genuinely what are you even talking about? I LIVE IN POVERTY DUE TO AMERICAN IMPERIALISM AND EXPANSION. Im so tired of blue state people who act like people in red states are some hellspawn of people. We are not the same. I live in where MY COMMUNITY will feel the impacts of a Trump administration long before you.

Bro that’s not. IT WAS A RIGGED ELECTION. Even so, the 3rd party voters didn’t make up a large enough percentage to account for her loss. This rhetoric literally supports the right more than it does the left. You’re pushing away more progressives. FIGHT instead of complaining

We would definitely be at war with iran rn. She wouldn’t do a damn thing to protect our right. Food stamps and medicade would have been cut anyway. You bumble fucks need to get a goddamn grip and start thinking for yourselves instead of just going based on who has a D or R next to their name. They are all shit human beings

It was her inability to communicate to the working class poor any policies that would have benefited them. Trump didn’t win by a small margin, he crushed her. The reason is that despite the fact that he’s a greed demon with no empathy and only self interests, he acknowledges the struggles of poor people. With ill intent of course, but Kamala refused to do that instead parroting the talking points of one of our most hated presidents and she got clapped for it.

tl;dr be angry with the Democratic Party for their complete incompetency, not at progressive voters who didn’t see her as a figure to stand behind. Vote blue no matter who isn’t working, and we should be able to realize that by now

Nah I think you should be angry at Trump supporters/voters first and foremost, then followed by those who voted independent/abstained. It’s fair to be upset with Kamala/the democrats third, as obviously they ran their campaign wrong (or else they would have run). But it’s important to remember that those who voted for Trump (primarily) and those who didn’t vote for Kamala (secondarily) actively contributed to making the US and the world a worse place.

Would it be fair to say that voting for any candidate makes you complicit in genocide /gen? To be against genocide America would need to directly oppose genocidal nations, not just stop supporting them, and I highly doubt we will ever be at a point where we’re willing to go to war with China and Israel (I forgot where the other genocides are rn) simultaneously. Not to mention the continued genocide of indigenous peoples within our own borders, to stop would require a gov buyback of private lands

(cont) and eviction of Americans from said lands to return them to indigenous communities. And i don’t even know how we would go about avoiding the usual “America props up a struggling foreign economy to control the government” problem, but regardless the policy will never have the support of everyone on a ballot at any given point, which makes every voter complicit in genocide

Yes, everyone who voted for Harris/Trump is complicit. You just admitted it. You think because everyone else voted for genocide, its ok??? Nope. That argument was disproven at Nuremberg. Doesnt matter how many Amerikkkans support the genocide. You’re a genocider

Anonymous replying to -> #3 5w

Wait lmao i never said it was okay. I’m asking a genuine question here. I believe that America is a nation that was built on genocide, supports it, and will never be in the position to oppose it. I’m asking YOU if voting at all makes one complicit. I know I’m complicit. I have to live with that.
