i mean why would a trans woman specifically have to go "ugh, trans men" rather than just "ugh, men"?? if a cis woman went "ugh, trans men" that would be weird too. trans men are not "worse than cis men" when it comes to transmisogyny bsffr

genuine question: why do you consider it "context dependent" whether it's okay for trans women to say they hate trans men, but inherently wrong the other way around?

because a trans man saying "ugh women" is akin to a man saying "ugh women" where i can't imagine a context that would make that not at least somewhat misogynistic, but a trans woman saying "ugh trans men" could be just a hyperbolic statement referring to misogynistic behavior that is excused by a group of trans men, if that makes sense

like there is an intersectionality aspect where because both trans men and women are in the trans community, the trans aspect is less likely to be targeted, while the man aspect might be highlighted. so in the case of a trans man saying "ugh transwomen" it is also a statement on women, by a man. but "ugh transmen" could be a statement on men, with a qualifier that is specific to a given situation. however there are also contexts where a trans woman saying "ugh trans men" would be fucked up

like "ugh trans men" in the context of a trans woman having experiences of being talked over or diminished specifically in queer/trans spaces, by trans men, is contextually valid. a trans woman saying "ugh trans men" because a trans man is discussing how misogyny affects him, or to try and imply that trans men are inherently worse than cis men, or something like that, would be contextually wrong and misogynistic
