My friend feels this exact way about neopronouns. They’re like “People like me have trouble getting people to use they/them, imagine trying to use xe/xim” and says queer discourse should focus on getting through trump 2 and solidarity first. I wholeheartedly agree with them. No offense to people using neopronouns, that’s cool, but we need to fight for our existence currently and not do silly infighting.
