Had to listen to my stepdad (who doesn’t know I’m queer) repeatedly call my sisters husband a fairy (because he wears eyeliner) while my mom tried to make him stop (she does know I’m queer) without upsetting him enough to start an argument

She ended up telling him that she “would like to see someone try to call Alice Cooper a fairy” and that made him stop?? But he does fully believe any man that wears makeup is gay

What’s worse is my sisters husband (I will never claim this man as a brother) is extremely homophobic and transphobic, like they have very similar beliefs but everyone hates him so it doesn’t count I guess
