real talk though the fact that OP’s gf’s best friend is an avowed zionist is a big red flag for like ur gf’s core beliefs and morals and what they’ll tolerate. I’m joking when i say just break up but if your gf is ok with that youve got to be ready to stand by your own morals and make tough decisions, communication is great but you can’t be like “i can fix her” if she’s tolerating settler colonialism and ethnic cleansing. It’s ok to have standards

she’s an “i hate talking about politics” person and i tried explaining the genocide in gaza and she’s like “both sides are wrong”. i do feel like i am in an “i can fix her” position right now and i do wish she is more educated on this tbh.

she’s also friends with someone who doesn’t know their limits with drinking and cut everyone off just to make up like 2 months later and she’s like yeah that’s just how they are which i find uncomfortable as well, maybe we just have different perspectives on friendships i just don’t know
