There’s this thing nicknamed the “Pentagon Pizza Index” Basically, when people are working overtime at the pentagon, takeout places nearby experience a spike in demand. Pizza is an easy way to feed lots of people, so that’s what the government tends to buy. Historically, these spikes have happened a few days/weeks before some big news or event
