Monica is really important in the original Secret Wars storyline so we might get some more of her there. Really I think in her case it’s just that The Marvels bombed really hard, like Morbius-level hard. I’m not disagreeing with your overall point, to be clear I think you’re generally right, I just think that that specific example isn’t really sound

I can concede that. Although, I do think The Marvels bombing in the first place was in part due to marvel always throwing bad writing at female-led movies like I said in my comment.

I would agree broadly, but uh. The Marvels was actually really good okay 😭 and I know no one is going to believe me but seriously it’s a fun space romp with fun characters and cool action. The CGI is mostly really good, the script is extremely solid, the acting is great, really I swear it’s a good movie 😭

I mean…I’ve seen it and I disagree. But I won’t say you’re wrong for having an opinion. I DO think it’s not nearly as bad as people say it is, but imo it’s not a good movie.
