lesbian purists will always irk me. these are the same influencers who tell you you’re faking it for thinking a man is attractive. no one said i was going to sleep with him, but i have eyes😭
some lesbian influencers: if you don’t find every woman ever incredibly attractive, you’re not a lesbian irl lesbians: no, i’m not attracted to every woman, i have a type. ts pmo as someone figuring out if im bi or les 🫩

like when other lesbians claim that you can’t be a lesbian if you have fictional crushes on men 😭like i understand that the doc definitely spread a lot of misinformation but it cracks me up. like 2D characters and men in novels written by women are not going to throw off the trajectory of my sexuality that is based on my real experiences with real men. if i can’t see myself kissing, sleeping with, or marrying a man, i don’t understand how my crush on gojo is going to suddenly make me bisexual

Exactly. You don’t have a crush on a fictional man, you have a crush on the IDEA of a fictional man 😂

The fake men that lesbians crush on are perfectly crafted for the female gaze and I swear half of these MFs have gorgeous long hair and look like women anyway. Like just because you think a cartoon person is awesome doesn’t mean you’d sleep with them if they came to life.

exactly! the whole point is that it’s not real. if someone tries to equate a silly little fantasy to real life, that’s where a problem happens, they’re separate for a reason. i could even argue the same for celebrities/idols. they’re crafted to be appealing to women, it’s a marketing tactic.

i actually had the biggest crush on soobin from txt before realizing i was a lesbian. it honestly set me back so much because i thought it meant i had to be bisexual so i kept going dates with men hoping that they would live up to the idea of what i wanted but after each date i felt so empty. looking back, i should have known, bro is ethereal but not a realistic image to have when thinking of men and dating
