Y’all don’t need to have a “hot take” about everything. Especially about how other people identify.

“Hot take but everyone is bi”. Like hot take guys everyone is made of milk chocolate and rainbow sprinkles but it doesn’t make that true

Literally. If it doesn’t affect you and it’s not hurting anyone, maybe consider just… being quiet.

Who is trying to ruin your life because you wouldn’t use neopronouns and why does that mean you should shit on everyone who uses them?

Have you seen anything happening online on the past 5 or so years? They sick their fans on people who use “they/them” for a person and try to dox them lmao

Do you have any examples more specific than “things happening online”? And again, if some people are doing that, why would that mean we should lump in everyone who uses neon pronouns together and assume the worst of them?

You’re right, I shouldn’t over generalize. That’s my bad. That being said, it’s not transphobic to not use neo pronouns, and too many folks in this yy community have never been around actual queer people

If you don’t want to use neo pronouns, don’t be friends with people who use them. They’re very rare. I stand by my point that people using them does not hurt anyone, and that loudly announcing they’re done in a publicly queer space is just inconsiderate and rude. You can keep that an inside thought. It’s not constructive to criticize people because they express their gender in a way that doesn’t make sense to you.

It is actually transphobic to not use a trans person’s correct pronouns

*loudly announcing they’re dumb, not done. Typo.

You can’t transition into a bug 😐

Fr. If you don’t want to use them, you don’t have to interact with people who use them. Just don’t go around announcing how dumb you think they are, and don’t purposefully approach people who use them, and use the wrong pronouns

idk, you've been transitioning to bugging me in the course of these replies

No one said you could. Neopronouns are a unique way trans people (often nonbinary people) express their relationship with gender. It does not mean they are literally transitioning into a bug.

Great! Nobody was arguing that you could 😐

I love transitioning into a they (also you should tell your trans friends about your opinion so they can promptly drop you ❤️)
