what is this from, out of curiosity? I know it says 2007, but even from then it seems crazy that more people would admit to gay sex on a poll than identify as gay

It was a national longitudinal study by the people in picture. I don’t know the specifics since this was just a small section in the psych book I’m reading but feel free to research it to your hearts content.

It also could have been the way they worded it. Asking if they ever, even once and briefly, had a sexual encounter with the same sex may have less stigma than claiming that doing so is apart of their identity as a person.
