
(I AM NOT DISSING PRIDE CULTURE!) but this is the difference between performative sexuality and sexuality as a part of your existence as a human. Corporations are somewhat forced into large gestures, but it often conflates “being queer” with “acting queer.” I’m queer, I don’t make it my entire personality or identity. This problem exists in all demonstrations of marginalized support, but I personally think Pride gets hit some of the hardest by it.
