Because I live with and am dependent on them, also because they do use my name even if they don't agree with my identity or name changing choice and aren't bad about it. And yes I'd love to be care free about it but I'm around them too much to not care

I meant the enby thing it's late but like idk if she even knows it's a chosen name, I met her a year ago and I already had the name. I know how she acts with a couple other not cis gender people and it's fine but she also doesn't agree with it in general even if she's respectful about it

Theyre not a friend if they cant respect the most basic part of your identity im sorry. Its also doing a disservice to yourself if you cant be yourself smong your friends

No, they DO respect it, but they don't like ... agree or believe in it? Idk if that makes sense. And I'm not sure they know im enby so idk how they'd react

Idk that I want to even, I haven't properly let myself think about it. There's nicknames associated with my chosen name I'm interested in trying so I'd probably do that above anything else

My transmasc cousin is on his, like, third or fourth name. He came out while he was in middle school and had some first choices he regretted lol

Idk why it didn't show me this notification. Anyway, back on topic, I do understand some people do it but I feel like it'd be ... disruptive? It's funny because idc if anyone else does it but for me there's all these self imposed rules and reasons and stuff 🫠
