This might be a stupid thing but I don’t know what is considered “bad enough” to ask for help from the Trevor project. Tonight has been a struggle but idk what they would even do to help me yk?

I’m not sure about the Trevor project specifically, but I dialed the lgbt extension of 988 a few weeks ago and it was super chill. You don’t necessarily have to be suicidal to call, “crisis” doesn’t have to be super extreme- sometimes you just need help and calling or whatever for 20 minutes can be comforting, they account for this

The Trevor project? It’s a crisis resource for queer youth struggling with their mental health. I have friends that have reached out to them, but I’m nervous to check it out because I’m scared they’d turn me away or something

This is great to know, thanks - I wound up waiting for the better part of an hour for someone to pick up last night and by the time someone did I was more exhausted and frustrated than anything
